Kyle Livingston has been Peace Corps’ Social Media Specialist since September 2014. He has grown Peace Corps’ follower base by more than 100,000 additional followers, he was the creative behind their 2014 New Year video and upcoming end-of-the-year video, and manages more than 40 international social media channels across 33 countries. He was a Peace Corps Thailand Volunteer from 2011-2013 where he was a Community-Based Organizational Development Advisor focusing on youth and gender development, gender empowerment, sexual health education and technology integration. He returned to Washington, D.C. in 2013 where he started graduate school at American University, during which he interned at the Center for Strategic and International Studies in their iDeas Digital Multimedia Lab. He also interned at the U.S. Embassy in Bangkok, Thailand in their Public Affairs section where he helped run their social media channels, authored briefing memos, and helped staff the U.S. Ambassador. He graduated from American University in May 2015 with his M.A. in International Affairs in Southeast Asia and focusing in U.S. Foreign Policy.
